7 Online Project Template-2

This lesson plan proposes using a website that explains the process of amending the US Constitution to introduce 5th grade social studies students to how amendments are made. The website contains an engaging video that would be projected for the class. Students would then be able to access the video through a class blog as a resource. The lesson focuses on understanding and remembering information, as the website simply presents information through a video rather than having students do higher-order thinking activities. The teacher would ensure the website complies with safety and privacy policies before directing students to view it.

What Level of Technology Implementation best describes this learning activity and
Why? I would say the technology implementation is not too high. It is a
simple website with a video, it is more of viewing than creation.
How could you implement this proposed learning experience and still comply with
your districts Internet Safety and Student Privacy policies? Making sure the

website is safe and secure is a great way to make sure it is not going to
lead the students somewhere where they should not be viewing it. As a
teacher, researching websites before instructing the students to go on
them is the best thing to do.
