To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter on behalf of Ms. Molly Rathje who has served as my student teacher in my four
year old classroom this school year first semester. The students and I thoroughly enjoyed having Molly
in the classroom. Her passion for teaching young children is contagious as is her energy and enthusiasm.
Molly had to create and teach lessons that focused on the early childhood developmental domains. The
lessons had to be taught as small group and large group activities. Molly created a lot of the materials
for these lessons on her own. The materials were always age appropriate, creative, and it was obvious
that she used her early childhood experience to create lessons that the children really enjoyed.
Molly was always well-prepared for class. She was very organized and highly dependable. I have total
confidence in her ability to command a classroom without supervision. Mollys positive attitude will
benefit every student.
It is without reservation that I recommend Ms. Molly Rathje for the open position of kindergarten
teacher at your school. I am confident that she will make a valuable addition to the teaching staff and I
believe your kindergartners will be lucky to have her as their teacher.
