Component 10 Teaching Art from Your Work of Art

Create a small scale installation Students will create a shoebox sized installation of a
room in their home that holds significance to them. This relates to the artwork because it

shows the importance of space in a home.


Create a beaded object Students will choose a small grocery item to cover in small
beads. This relates to the artwork because it uses the same process that was used to create

Kitchen
Create a faux stained glass pattern Students will choose a pattern from the work and
recreate it using small tissue paper squares and a piece of clear plexi glass. This relates to
the artwork because it uses pattern and shows how light plays into the work as a whole.
