Introduction (lisa)

The culture of tea comes from the ancient Chinese civilization. A legend attributes the
discovery of the plant at the beginning of the third millennium BC. A hot day the
Emperor resting in the shade of a tree. It boiled water, suddenly a light breeze that
swept some leaves of the tree that were to fall into the container rose. Shen Nong
realized that the water took on a strange color and tasted the brew; Tea was born.

Tea Varieties (luisa)


The varieties of hot tea are: black, green, white, yellow, red, oolong, all come from the
same plant, Camellia Sinensis; the difference is in the processes of leaves. For example
green tea is not subjected to fermentation by passing through the black tea.
You can also prepare iced tea, which is made with tea leaves and add lemon extract,
peach, blackberry or raspberry

Tea nutritional properties (Dora)


Tea contains mainly sodium, potassium and copper and nickel, iron, silicon, aluminum,
magnesium, phosphorus, calcium and mineral salts important for our body.
Also contains fluoride or other substances such catechic tannins and polyphenolic
derivatives such as kenferol flavonoids, quercetin and miricetol. But the best known is
the protein substance or caffeine, an alkaloid containing Teofilia and theobromine.
Although tea contains a lot of vitamins, can be found in small doses vitamins A, B, C, E
and P.

Tea producing countries (Edwin)


Since ancient times, tea was grown and processed in Asia but over time was extended
to other regions of the world.
Currently it is produced and processed in different countries, making it possible that the
market enjoy a variety of teas origin.
As each country and region has its particular in terms of climate, soil and altitude
characteristics, this is favorable for every type of tea has its well-defined characters
and is easy to differentiate from others.

How to prepare a good tea (Sebastian)


Place about 2.5 grams, about 1 tablespoon dessert per person in the infuser leaving
room for the leaves open to be infused.
Put the infuser in the cup or teapot and pour the (not boiled!) Hot water. Different
temperatures are recommended depending on the type of tea, because water too hot
can burn the leaves.
Leave leaves infuse recommended for each type of tea time
