The Tenses Are Divided Into Different Time Segments, I.E. Present

Verbs and Tenses can be divided into Present, Past and Future tenses as well as Simple, Continuous, Perfect and Perfect continuous categories. The tenses segment verbs into different time frames, with Present, Past and Future referring to when an action occurs, and Simple, Continuous, Perfect and Perfect continuous referring to the way an action progresses or is completed. Proper use of verb tenses is important for clearly communicating when events take place.
