Lift System in UTHM Library

The document discusses the lift system in UTHM's library. It begins with an introduction that defines a lift as a vertical transport equipment powered by electric motors to efficiently move people between floors. It then describes the target users as students, staff, and visitors. Design considerations for the lifts include population size, handling capacity, and quality of service required. The lifts in UTHM's library use a side by side arrangement to reduce installation costs.
