Applications are invited from the eligible candidates, for filling up of the posts of Senior Research
Fellow (SRF) and Junior Research Fellow(JRF) on adhoc basis for the ICMR funded Project
entitled Structure based drug discovery of potent Keap1 inhibitors: A new therapeutic drug
target in neurodegenerative diseases under Dr. B. Padmanabhan, Additional Professor &

Minimum two years research experience after post-graduation.
Applicant should have substantial experience in molecular
biology and protein biochemistry involves cloning, protein
expression & purification, and biochemical studies. Experience
in protein crystallography is preferable but not mandatory.

Applicant should have substantial hands-on experience in
computational chemistry/biology, medicinal/pharmaceutical
chemistry (synthesis chemical libraries) and in docking and
molecular dynamics programs. Experience in protein
crystallography is preferable but not mandatory.

Duration of the Posts: Three Years


Tenure of Appointment: Initial appointment will be made for a period of One year and the same will be
renewed yearly depending upon the performance of the candidate.
