Gassy Jupiter

A Poster about the Planet Jupiter

Jupiter is the fifth planet in the solar system it s a gas giant that also
has a liquid sea of metallic hydrogen hiding under its thick clouds.
Some people regard Jupiter as a failed star, this is because it would
have been a star if it was five times bigger. Did you know that this
planet has no solid ground? The only sold materiel on this gassy planet
is it's core, which is lava hot. Even if we were able to withstand the heat,
we would be knocked out of the planet from the strong winds that rage
the planet. The biggest storm is known as the red dot, it has been raging
for a few hundred of years. No storm on Earth could match the mighty
storms on Jupiter. It is the largest planet. Jupiter is so big that you have
two put 11 earths in to stretch the middle of it. Jupiter. It is the Highest
planet in the night's sky. Jupiter has at least 67 moons, 55 of them are
very small, about the same size as a mountain or even smaller. Two of
them are about the same size as Mercury. One of these moon's is the
biggest moon in the solar system. Jupiter is the third brightest planet,
Venus and the Moon are only brighter. This extraordinary planet is
away from the sun not towards it. 1 Orbit around the Sun takes 4332.59
Days. Did you know that 1 Rotation takes 9 hours and 55 minutes?
Jupiter's Mass is 317 times more than Earth, it's volume 1318 times
more than earth . The Escape Velocity is 214203 km per hour "133100
mph", and the distance from the Sun is 777 million km "483 miles". The
Average Temperature on Jupiter is -153 C, -244 F.

The Juno Mission

Fun Facts:
- It is five planets away, it takes 1.9 years for a space
shuttle to reach Jupiter.
- It got the name because huge storms rage on Jupiter just
like the Roman god of the sky.
- Jupiter has an atmosphere, but it is mostly made out of
chemicals.
