Validate Digital Signature

Open the PDF Form 16 downloaded from the web portal or received via email. The digital signature will be marked as "Validity Unknown" initially. To validate the signature, right click the signature and select Validate Signature, then click Signer and Show Certificate. Select Trust and Add to Trusted Identities, click OK to any messages, tick the checklist and click OK, then click Validate Signature. This will change the signature status to valid and only needs to be done once per computer.

Youcanvalidatethedigitalsignatureasbelow

1) Right Click on Digital Signature and Click on Validate Signature

2) Click on Signature Properties.

3) Click on Signer

4) Click on Show Certificate.

5) Click on Trust then click on the Add to Trusted Identities

6) Following message may display. Click on OK

7) Tick all checklist and Click on OK as shown below

8) Click on Validate Signature

9) Now you can see Form 16 with Valid Signature. This exercise is required
to perform only once on a Computer.
