Welcome

Jewish Learning Program

Registration 2015-16
March 2015
Dear Families,
We are already imagining next year for Temple Bnai Abrahams Jewish Learning Program. Our
theme for the 2015-2016 comes from the famous father of Zionism, Theodor Herzl who said, Im
Tirzu Ain Zo Agada: If you will it, it is no dream While Herzl spoke these words about his dream
for a Jewish homeland, at the Jewish Learning Program, we know it not only applies to our love
of Israel, but the Jewish dreams we have for all our children. The synagogue experience allows
people of all ages to dream for their Jewish future. Here at the JLP, your children will imagine a
future that will secure their Jewish identity and encourage a life-long love of doing and being
Jewish!
As they blossom into young Jewish adults, our staff and clergy will partner with you, the family, to
bring Jewish life alive. From history to holiday celebrations, our program seeks to make
relevance and meaning from our vibrant and deep Jewish history. Whether an introduction to
Jewish holidays in Kindergarten or a twelfth grade exploration of Jewish history, we seek to
inspire kids to think creatively about their own faith and spirituality. Our hands-on approach
engages children at their developmental level and helps them to dream!
Attached, you will find a brief program description that will help you make your registration
choices. Please be advised, to register for third grade and above, you MUST become a member
of Temple Bnai Abraham. If you have questions about membership or financial matters, please
contact Gail Milchman, Executive Director at 973-994-2290 or [email protected].
If you have any questions about which program will most suit your childs interests, please feel
free to contact me or even come for a visit!

( Sweet Dreams),

Morah Melissa
