Rules

1. The application/software should be built for Windows or Android Platform


2. Application should be the original work of the team Plagiarism will lead to disqualification
3. Use of App generators is not allowed
4. Size of team should be not more than 3
5. Each team can submit one application only

Round 1
Team must send app links after uploading to the respective app stores. If in case
uploading is not possible just send us the .apk or .xap files. No reports or abstracts
required.

Format for submission:

Name of Team
Name of College
Name of App
Category chosen
One line description of the app idea
One line description of the implementation tools/techniques
Link of the uploaded app .apk or .xap file

Judging
The applications will be shortlisted based on :

Implementation of the app idea


Choice of tools and techniques
Genuineness of the app or app idea. Plagiarism will lead to disqualification
Submission date for Round 1 is 3rd April, 2014
Shortlisted Teams will be invited for final round in IIT Mandi

Round 2
An On- spot Application Development round. The teams have to make an app on the final
day in a given time frame; the problem statements/ app ideas would be disclosed on the
final day and will be based on respective first round submissions. They may be extensions
or modification of the first round projects.
App/Software Development will be accompanied with a short quiz/questionnaire. The teams
will be tested for their genuine knowledge regarding the Development Process.

Format of Quiz:
10 one- liner questions

Judging
Teams will be judged on the cumulative performance of first round and final round. More
weightage will be given to the final round performance.
