4 System Design Specification


The system makes the inns transaction computerized with the required hardware
and software. The system is connected to the back-end, Microsoft Access, which makes
the passing of data easy and fast. The transaction is available depending on user log-in. In
addition, the front-end, system language, Microsoft Visual Studio 2013, is one of the
most used programming languages for offline systems.
3.5 Summary
This whole chapter explains the systems requirements of the proposed system to
enable it function totally with efficiency, accuracy and error free transactions. Using the
system the management of the inn necessarily needs a computer unit to apply the newly
computerized reservation and billing system for a better company profit.

The

manager

and the employee assigned to handle the system must be computer literate and the
software and hardware requirements must be satisfy in order to reach the system full
function. Also the hardware and software must be upgraded as time passed by to maintain
the efficiency of the system. With this the company is to believe that they could be
competitive to other hotels or inns.
