United States Fuze PD M74

This fuze was originally known as the T54 and was used in 37mm practice projectiles, using a type M29 detonator. It operates with an out-of-balance rotor that is locked in an unarmed position by a hairpin-type setback pin until impact provides sufficient force to release the pin and allow the rotor to spin and detonate the projectile.
