1.

Check the status of BTS Software in the BTS using the following command:
ZEWO:<BCF NO.>;

2. To download new SW in the BTS at first the NW must be vacant. If there is any
SW in the NW it has to be deleted to make room for the new SW package. Use the
following command:
ZEWE: :<BCF NO.>:NW;
If the NW status is already vacant then go to Step-3 directly.
3. To attach the SW to the BTS, run the following commands:
ZEWL; % Shows the list of BTS SW available in the BSC %

ZEWA:<BCF NO.>:<BUILD ID>; % Download the software to the BTS %

e.g. ZEWA:2: FLEXI_EX42_PP02;
It will take around 2.5 Hrs for the SW to be downloaded in the BTS. We can use the
below mentioned command to check the status:
ZEWI:<BCF NO.>;

4. After the SW is downloaded then we have to the toggle the SW position status in
the BTS:
ZEWH:1:ST1=BU,ST2=NW,; % Toggle the position of SW between NW & BU %
ZEWH:1:ST1=NW,ST2=FB,; % Toggle the position of SW between NW & FB %
5. After the position of the newly downloaded SW is moved to the BU state, the
following command is used to tell the BTS to restart with the new SW:
ZEWV:<BCF NO>:BU:;
e.g. ZEWV:12:BU;

Press Y shown above to confirm execution of the command. It will take around 5
mins for the site to restore itself.
6. After the site is restored check using Step-1 whether the site is running with the
updated SW and then go to Step-2 for removing any SW in the NW state.
