Examples:
- There is complete silence since the Principal

entered the room.


- He is staying with his friends since he came to
Delhi.
- It is two hours since Ram left this place.
- The birds are very silent since it rained last
night.

To describe series of actions in the

Examples:
-Yesterday I returned home late. I
found the lights on. I wondered who
switched them on. Very quietly I
unlocked the door, entered the
house, searched each room but found
none.
