Lecture PPT Intrapreneurship

Intrapreneurship involves staff initiating innovative systems within an organization to improve performance using existing resources. The intrapreneurial process is similar to entrepreneurship but more complex as the intrapreneur does not control the organization. There are five aspects to intrapreneurship - imagination, information, innovation, intention, and implementation. The advantages include using company resources with lower risk in a familiar environment, while disadvantages are limited innovation and reward. Managers must commit to supporting ideas, identify risk-tolerant areas, use technology, get customer feedback, establish support structures, and tie rewards to performance.
