To whom it may concern,
You are looking for a dedicated intern who is highly driven and pays attention to detail. My
education throughout high school and college has made me a great candidate for this position.
My high school and college background has prepared me with the skills needed to be successful
in the field of industrial/manufacturing engineering and has helped motivate me to become the
best engineer I can be. I completed an auto cad course which required us to use the software to
create many 3D objects such as miniature cars, houses, boxes, and tables. I also have used excel
for many of my classes in high school and college. I have created spread sheets, tables,
instructions, and graphs using the excel software. My college education has prepared me with
knowledge of many different material characteristics and how each one bonds together to make
hybrid materials.
My previous work experience in a factory will help me excel at your plant. I already have
experience working with heavy machinery, casting, and creating different materials with little to
no supervision as well as test new materials to make sure they meet the required dimensions for
that material. As a college athlete I have been required to get my work done under a great deal of
stress and minimal time which has helped me acquire the skill of working alone, in a timely
fashion, and putting my best work forward.
