Setting up the Span ideation system

Complete these steps to set up the systems hardware and software:

1. Install hardware, software and drivers

Follow the step-by-step instructions outlined in the installation guide.

2. Add users to your subscription

Within the software are two types of accounts:
Administrator
Does not require a license
Manages subscription licenses by adding or removing user accounts
Adds and removes administrator accounts
Adds owners to existing canvases
User
Requires a license
Creates and manages canvases
Participates in other users canvases
The initial software administrator will receive a link via email with an invitation to create
an account. Once that is done, user and other administrator accounts can be added to
the software.
To add a user account
Go to span.nureva.com on your browser
Click Log in as an administrator
Enter your email and password and click Log in
Click Users
Click Add user
Enter the user email address
The user will be invited via email to create an account.

Click Admins

3. Configure display settings

The systems display settings must be configured when launching Nureva Span wall
software for the first time.
Turn on the projector using the power button on the remote control
Log in with a username and password. The display settings window will pop-up
automatically if this is the first time the software has been launched. If the
display settings window does not pop-up, click your username on the toolbar and
select Display settings from the menu.
Click the plus sign and create a room name. Creating a room allows you to specify
how many projectors are in your 'room' and thus how many displays the software
has to project across.
Use the drop-down menu to select the room you created.
Select Single display for a single projector system. For a dual display projector
system, select Dual display and then tap on the image of the right or left screen
to indicate which side the projector is on.
Tap Update to save the display settings
For a single projector system, you can now open or create a canvas on the wall
For a dual projector system, launch the Span wall software on the second display.
Log in with the same username and password and select the same room that you
did for the first display. The software now knows that your projectors are part of
the same system and will open canvases across both displays.
