TheProductionEngineerreviewswellandfieldproductionperformance,performsproductiondataanalysis,andidentifies
underperformingwells.Responsibilitiesincludetheevaluationandoptimizationofwellperformanceandtheplanningfor
workoversandproductionenhancements.Projectsmayincludethedesignofshortandlongtermsolutionsforproduction
enhancementthroughwellremediationandprocessoptimization,usingdatagatheredduringproductionmonitoringand
surveillance.Thispositionrequiresworldwidemobilitywithnorestrictions.
SuccessfulProductionEngineershavestrongteamwork,presentation,andpeopleskills.Theyenjoyworkingfacetofacewith
clientsandhavetheadaptabilityrequiredtoperforminaconsultingservicesenvironment.
Responsibilities:
Workwiththesuburfaceteamtoprepareconceptualanddetailedbasisofdesignforwellcompletions.
Workwiththesubsurfaceteamtodefinelifecyclebasedwellcompletiondesign.
Generatewellmodels,nodalanalyses,andverticalflowperformancetables.
Investigatestimulationtechniquesandmakerecommendations.
Investigateandselectartificialliftmethodology.
Ensureintegrityandsafetyoftechnicaldesign.
Preparepreliminarycompletionprograms.
Communicatewithclientswellengineeringfunction.
Qualifications:
Bachelorsdegreeinpetroleumorproductionengineering.
Minimum5yearsofrelatedindustryexperience.
Experienceincompletionplanning,design,operations,andwellcontrol.
Experienceinwellmodeling,stressanalysis,nodalanalysis,decisionanalysis,andartificialliftdesign.
Experienceworkingwithinmultidisciplinaryteamsandinmanagingworkagainstsafety,quality,cost,andtimeindicators.
