T308-12 Exercise 12.1 - RevA

This document provides instructions for an exercise to analyze how changing the I/O scan cycle time influences CPU load in an 800xA system. The exercise has students check the initial total and cyclic CPU loads, set the scan cycle time parameter to 100ms, redownload the hardware configuration, then check the loads again to analyze the impact of a longer scan cycle time on reducing CPU utilization.
