amounts

Diagram:
Include a simple labeled diagram on blank paper illustrating how the equipment was set up for your
experiment. LINE UP ALL LABELS ON ONE SIDE OF THE DIAGRAM.
Observations:
Include all qualitative and quantitative observations here. All diagrams and charts are also included in this
section. All observations should be made in the third person past tense. DO NOT INCLUDE ANY
INFERENCES OR INTERPRETATIONS OF YOUR OBSERVATIONS.
Discussion and Analysis:
In this section you will include your interpretations (i.e. inferences) of your results, any calculations and
answers to follow up questions.
Conclusions:

the concepts stated in the purpose. It should also include any possible sources of error (there are always
some).
References:
Include all references, including personal communications cited in proper format (Author, (date) Title,
Place: Publisher, page). Make sure to include your lab partner.
Rough Work: Make sure that your rough data table is included at the back of your lab.
