***REQUIREMENTS***

You will need a system repair disk, or a Windows installation disk for this process.
***REQUIREMENTS***

Insert your system repair disk/installation disk


Restart your computer
Boot to the disk
Click next on the Install windows page
Then choose repair your computer
Choose the windows 7 operation system
Then open the command prompt
Navigate to D: (C: is system reserved)
a. D:\Windows\System32
9. Once in that directory preform the following command
a. ren osk.exe osk.old.exe

10.If you wish to check to see if the command ran properly use
a. Dir /p
11.Then preform the following command
a. ren cmd.exe osk.exe

12.If you wish to check to see if the command ran properly use
a. Dir /p
13.Then close the command window, and restart the computer

14.Once windows has booted click the Ease of access button


15.Check the
box
16.Click ok
17.Once the command prompt window appears type the following command
a. Net users
18.Observe which users you wish to reset the password for

19. The preform the following comand


a. Netusers (user you want) (Password you want)

20.Then login with the newly set password


21.Restart the computer and boot to the cd again and open the command
prompt window then repeat steps 8-13
22.Rename the osk.exe to cmd.exe
a. The command is
i. ren osk.exe cmd.exe
23.Then rename the osk.old.exe to osk.exe
a. The command is
i. ren osk.old.exe osk.exe
24.Then restart the computer
25.Login, you are finished
