A pump malfunctioned at the SMP-3 site near the weigh bridge at the EISC-WTP3 company, causing water to spread across the area. To prevent further overflow, operators started a second pump and increased the water flow. The water level was brought under control. An investigation found low flow from one of the pumps caused the rising water level. Corrective actions will be taken to prevent future issues.

Action Taken to Prevent Reoccurrence

As informed by E&A team, there was


problem of low flow from one of the
pump which was in operation and level
was rising. For controlling level after
overflow, operator has started second
pump and increased water flow. After
some time water level has come down.
