Top 10 memo writing mistakes

Abstract is not in the form of executive summary.


Table of content is missing list of tables and figures.
Table and figure number is missing.
Table and figure caption is missing.
Tables and figures not been referenced in the text (paragraph).
Objective, motivation, and conclusions behind each section of memo is
missing. (Biggest Mistake!!!)
7. Use of first person language (I, we, and our). The formal reports are
written in third person language.
8. Improper referencing (number sequences are wrong or repeating!!!).
9. Improper formatting (space between pages and paragraphs, one or two
line paragraphs, different sections written in different font size and
spacing).
10.
Grammatical mistakes (do a cross checking in the group itself).
