SAP Host Agent upgrade procedure (patch 73 to 95)


1. You have to download the required target release version of
package (patch 95) SAPHOSTAGENT95_95-20005731.SAR from
SAP Service Marketplace.
2. Current patch is 73.

3. Target patch is 95.


Procedure
1. Extract the downloaded SAPHOSTAGENT95_95-20005731.SAR
package to a temporary directory as follows:
mkdir hostagent_update
cd hostagent_update

Now extract like below:

The archive contains the saphostexec program.


2. Switch to the root user.
4. Run the command . /saphostexec -upgrade.

5. Check hostagent version

Note: User should have root authorization.
