This document presents the results of three parts of an optimization model for SC Consulting to determine the optimal locations to open offices and assign client trips to minimize total costs. Part a opens one office in Denver and assigns all trips out of that office. Part b opens one office each in LA, Tulsa, and Seattle and splits trips between them. Part c opens offices in all four locations and distributes trips to stay close to capacity limits. The total costs decrease from Part a to Part c as the model utilizes capacity more efficiently across multiple offices.
