Fourth Grade News

Important Dates
Oct 12-16 Book Fair

Today marks the end of first quarter! This


year is moving forward and quickly.
Conferences: Please make sure to sign up for a
Parent-Teacher Conference time if you have
not already. The two main nights will be Monday, October 19 and Thursday, October 22.
Keep in mind school will not be in session on
Friday, October 23.

Field Trip: Permission slips for our field trip


have been sent home. Please make sure to return both forms as well as
payment ($6.50) for your child by Thursday, October 22. We will be outside for the entire time at Dogwood Canyon. We recommend students wear
tennis shoes, and bring a jacket and bring their lunch in a disposable paper
sack so they wont have to carry their lunch box on the mile walk back to
the bus.

Book Fair: The book fair will be open this Friday, Oct 9, from 8:1512:30. Then, beginning on Monday, October 12th, the book fair will be in
full swing from 8:15-4:30. It will be open until 7 pm on Monday and Thursday nights. Then, next Friday, Oct 16, the book fair will be open from 8:15
-noon. Your child will shop during their library time and create a wish
list. When sending money, please use an envelope or baggie marked with
your childs name and Book Fair. If it is not your childs library day he/
she may shop during open checkout time or before or after school with a
parent.
