PREFACE
For the enhancement and promotion of learning process, and to improve the quality
of Islamic education, syllabus can play a pivotal role. It provides base for learning
outcome. On the bases of course outline a teacher can promote the student
personality, punctuality, professional competence, fair dealing, which ultimately
resulted upon positive change in human behavior. The basic need of the student is
to gain some knowledge in a sequence, and to draw a sketch for enhancing the
learning outcome. Then he has to concerns with syllabus and course contents.
Thus course out line is the lime light through which one can gain destiny. Teacher is
a role model personality in education system. He plays a sophisticated role in the
promotion of students knowledge, intellectual competency, social interaction and
objectives. This is just a way to harmony and socio-economic development in
society. The main mission of Islamic department is to develop Islamic values in
society. For providing quality Islamic education department of Islamic Studies and
Research was established by worthy Vice Chancellor in September, 2010.
University of Science and Technology conducting examination of M.A Islamic
studies and M.A in Arabic language, on private bases till the date of its foundation,
however looking in to the talent pool of the area and tendency of the people
towards Islamic Teachings, it was seriously felt to launch M.A Islamic studies on
regular bases like M. Phil classes in Islamic Studies discipline. Which is regularly
launched and still in progress (By the Grace of ALLAH Almighty). To take start
regarding M.A Islamic studies as a regular program the present scuffle is the first
steppingstone to full fill this objective. Why it felt to modify the present syllabus?
Discoveries, inventions and innovation in pragmatic sciences direct dealt with the
socio-economic development day by day. This phenomena lead to variation in trend
and progress in style of life. In this era education instrument has been totally
changed. Information Technology became an integral part of our education system.
Global oriented education has created new challenges to institutions. Creative and
critically thinking has become the need of a day. In such circumstances to cope with
these challenges and to gain objectives, is a great matter of fact. What kind of
strategies should be adopted to compete in existing era? One should keep in view

31
