Reference : Board's Letter No. E(P&A)II/86/HL/2, dated 21.07.1987 (RBE 189/1987). Consequent upon the discussions held in the Departmental Council (JCM), it has been decided by the Board that the existing rates of National Holiday Allowance for attendance on National Holidays may be revised as under: S. 2. Board's instructions to exercise strictest possible control on booking of staff on
National Holidays as explained in para 2 of the above referred Board's letter should continue to be followed. 3. The revised rates of National Holiday Allowance will have effect from the date of issue and have the approval of the President. Revision of ceiling limit for Rs. 2600 to Rs. 3200 vide Railway Board's letter No. E(P&A)II/86/HL/2, dated 21.03.1994 (RBE 15/1994). Revised rates of National Holiday Allowance vide Railway Board's letter No. E(P&A)I97/HL/2 dated 18.02.1998 (RBE 39/1998).
