Bloodspatterlab

This experiment tested the effect of drop height on blood spatter diameter by dropping simulated blood from increasing heights and measuring the resulting diameters. Measurements were taken from 20cm to 200cm in 20cm increments and recorded in a data table. The results showed that beyond a height of 60cm, the diameters began to increase rather than decrease with greater heights, contrary to the initial hypothesis that diameter would decrease with increasing height. The purpose was to help determine the height from which a victim named Anna was struck by examining blood spatter at a crime scene.
