Classroom Arrangement Checklist

1_Clearly marked with your name and room number.

2_There is space inside for lining up.

3_Displays feature classroom information, instruction, and entertainment.


4_Displays schedule (with pictures or icons for younger students) is post and
kept current in place where students can read it easily.

5_Fits the grade I am teaching.


6_Fits my teaching style.
7_Enables me to make eye contact with each students.

8_There is quiet or time out area.

9_There is adequate open space for reading circle.

10_There are adequate quiet areas when students can read or study
independently.

11_Areas that invite group work are not next to quiet areas.

12_There is enough work areas for each child (and assigned seats, if
appropriate).

13_Room dividers are low so that all areas of the classroom are visible to me.

14_Each child has a personal space (e. g, a desk, cubby, or coat hook).
