This Week
This week we are starting Unit 2
-Week 1, Tara and Tiree. in our
Reading Street book.
Please also continue to encourage your child
to keep working toward their Reading goal.
Please see that your child reads every night
for a minimum of 20 minutes. Remember
Razkids is an excellent way to meet their
reading goal for the quarter. Thursday, November 5th we will be having the ice cream
sundae party for the students who have
reached their goal.
On Friday, October 30th, we will be having
Math activities with pumpkins before we
carve them. We will need 5 large pumpkins
for the class. If you would like to donate
one please send me an email. I am also
looking for volunteers to help with the activities. Let me know if you would like to
be a volunteer.

Enrichment activities (NOT mandatory)


Take a practice spelling
quiz with a family member. Bring it in to me.
Write 4 sentences using: for and four.
Use an adjective to describe each noun in
your spelling sentences.
Practice your addition
facts.
Practice your subtraction facts.
Practice counting by 4s
and 8s.
Practice counting by 7s
and 9s.
Write a five sentence
paragraph on the The
seasons of the year.
