STRONG IODINE SOLUTION


- A solution of polyiodides in excess
iodide
- Contains in every 100 mL 4.5 to 5.5
g of Iodine and 9.5 to 10.5 g of
Potassium Iodide
- Usual dose: 0.3 mL, tid

- 1 g of Iodine crystals dissolves in
2950 mL of water
- 1 g of KI is soluble in 1 mL of water
