TASK #2: Describing an Event
Describe an event of your interest in terms of activities you can do, landscapes,
places to visit, etc. Present descriptive details and use the coordinating conjunctions
and, but, and so. Write 10 full sentences (all connected because they are about the
same event) using appropriate vocabulary.
1. Choose one event on your calendar (for example: a religious celebration, carnival,
etc.)
2. What can you tell us about the event?
When does the event occur?
Where does the event take place?
What do people eat and drink at the event?
What do people do at the event?
What do people wear at the event?
Any other relevant information?
