Taprene 1001 is a Acrylate graphted cold Styrene - Butadiene Copolymer. Taprene


1001 powder elastomer combines the advantages of easy processing and compounding with
good physical properties. Powdered Taprene rubber eliminates the need for milling, cutting or
grinding equipment. The powdered particles retain the porous nature of the coagulated rubber
and can be dissolved in a solvent faster then milled or palletized bale rubber.

Taprene 1001 powder elastomer is recommended for general purpose and due to its powder
form a shorter compounding cycle in state of the art equipment. This powdered rubber is used
also for modification of thermoplastics compounds.

Applications :
Taprene 1001 powder can be used for manufacturing variety of products.
Moulded goods.

Shoe Soles.

Adhesions.

Seals, Retainers.

Gaskets, Joints.

Compound PE, PP, PS and EVA.
