Interview 1- Jeremy Corbyn on the

tone and style- professional, proper. Very little humor involved
and mostly based on fact.
Interview style- formal, informational, lack of conflict between
interviewer and interviewee.
Question types- open questions based on Corbyns ideology
and his race to become the next leader of the Labour Party.
Interview structure- linear, focused structure. Very little
deviation from interview structure.
Target audience- supporters of Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour
Party. People interested in left wing politics or politics in
general.
Interview purpose- to get publicity for Corbyns campaign and
to inform people on the Labour Party leadership election

Interview 2- Al Jazeera interview

Tone and style- tense at certain times as the interviewer asks deep
persistent questions about Pakistans involvement in arming the
Taliban. The style is formal and professional.
Interview style- the interview style is formal and professional as this is a
political interview.
Question types- mostly open questions. Questions are made persistent
in order to put the interviewee under pressure and make him slip up.
Interview structure- interview is focused and structure. This is done to
keep the interview professional.
Target audience: people who are interested in international politics and
the Afghan Conflict. People interested in Pakistani politics.
Interview purpose- to shine light on the ISI (Pakistans secret police)
involvement in arming the Afghan Taliban and to hear the point of view
of the ISI on the war on terror.

Interview 3- Vice News interview

Tone and style- tone is friendly and has very hostility between the
interviewer (Shane Smith) and the interviewee. The style is formal and
professional to maximize the seriousness of the interview.
Interview style- the interview style is formal and professional as the
interviewee is a world leader and must be seen as respectable.
Question types- the questions are open and informational. Interviewer
asks questions in a relaxed manner and is not persistent in his
questioning. The interviewee answers questions in a relaxed manner.
Interview structure- the interview is structured and focused on the main
questions, rarely deviating to more unfocused questions.
Target audience- people who are interested in both international politics
and in American politics. People who support and/or are interested in
Barack Obama.
Interview purpose- to shine light on the interviewees actions and beliefs
in politics and get publicity for his chosen policies or beliefs.
