4 ECE EC 2255 Control System

This document is the exam for a control systems engineering course. It contains two parts with multiple choice and numerical questions. Part A contains 10 short answer questions testing fundamental control systems concepts like open vs closed loop systems, signal flow graphs, system classification, and time and frequency response analysis. Part B contains 5 long form questions involving transfer function analysis, transient response evaluation, Bode and Nyquist plots, root locus analysis, and state space modeling. Students are asked to use techniques like block diagram reduction, Mason's rule, and controllability tests to solve control system problems.
