Creating True Type Fonts in Corel Draw
This assignment will show you how to make True Type Fonts in Corel Draw that you can
use on your own computer.
1. Draw your font so that it fits on one sheet of paper.
2. Scan the image and save it as a grayscale jpg image.
3. Increase the contrast so that the image is pure black and white, no gray.
4. Use mode to turn the image into a bitmap, if its too distorted, use the grayscale
version of the image.

13. Export the image (Ctrl H). Save as type TTF (True Type Font in your folder
fontname The file name fontname SHOULD already be highlighted.
14. If it isnt, just put your
fontname into
the File Name area.
15. In the Options Box type your
font name and uncheck the
Symbol option. Choose Normal
style unless your font is a bold or
italic font anyway.
