Information and Communication Technologies

ICT Acceptable Use Procedure

The Internet is a vast source of information that can be of great benefit to users. We are aware that
there is inaccurate, illegal, defamatory and offensive material published on the Web. However, we
believe that the benefits of monitored access to the Internet outweigh the hazards. The Stella Maris
ICT Acceptable Use Procedure is designed to promote and reward responsible use of information
technologies. Use of the computers and associated technology is a privilege and not a right. It may be
revoked if abused and general school rules for personal responsibility and communication will apply.
