Possible Preconceptions/Misconceptions:
They might not identify the print of an animal or plants because it was really a long
time ago. They might assume that if an animal or any remains of living organism will
die they will just rot and they will not form into what it called fossils.

Reviewing the previous lesson. Asking them questions about the topic:
What happens with the remains of an organism like animals over a
long period of time?
Do you believe that dead organism can be form into a fossil or will
they rot into soil?
EXPLORE: Lesson Description Materials Needed / Probing or Clarifying
Questions:
Watching a video about different fossils and its forms.
EXPLAIN: Concepts Explained and Vocabulary Defined:
I will explain and expound more about what we watched in the video using power
point and adding more pictures of different fossils.
Vocabulary: Extinct, fossils
ELABORATE: Applications and Extensions:
We will answer the worksheet.
EVALUATE:
We will check if they answer the worksheet correctly and explain again if there are
some areas they dont understand.
Elaborate Further / Reflect: Enrichment:
I will ask them more questions or ask them if they saw a fossil remains in reality. I will
also encourage them to visit a museum if they have time and look for a fossil but its
not really compulsory, just for them to appreciate the fossil in reality.
