Students will have the chance to share descriptions of their 5 senses to their
shoulder partners. The teacher will observe conversations to check for
understandings. Students will also need to have their journal checked for correct
use of general grammatical practices.

Students will have the opportunity to discuss with their partner which of the 5 sense
they feel in winter and provide examples for each. Teacher will implement the
winter poem and suggest some ideas that the students may have come across in
their daily lives.

will assist students in their writing about
