Ercual A2 (Albronzea2) BW

Midalloy ERCuAl-A2 is an aluminum bronze welding alloy used for gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW). It can be used for overlaying or building up bearing surfaces, joining copper alloys and ferrous/non-ferrous metals, and joining dissimilar metals. The alloy has a typical chemistry of 8.5-11.0% aluminum, 0.75-1.50% iron, and is balanced by copper. It has a tensile strength of 79,025 psi, yield strength of 34,945 psi, and 28% elongation. Recommended welding parameters are provided for GTAW and GMAW using the
