Reflection Task 7

This document is a reflection task from Maryam Mohammed Salem Alshehhi's observation booklet for her Practicum 1a course. In the reflection, she discusses the teacher she observed, including what strategies worked well for managing the class. She notes that the teacher uses both positive and negative techniques, like giving stars to well-behaved students or telling misbehaving students' mothers. Overall, Maryam observed that the teacher had a mix of firm and positive approaches to keep students attentive and in control of the classroom.

Reflection
1. What worked well and why?
2. What useful tips and strategies did you observe?
3. What techniques do you think the teacher uses to manage the children
and why?
4. Are there any children in the class with difficult or unusual behavior?
How does the teacher with these children?
5. Overall, is the teacher more negative or positive when dealing with
management issues? Why?

The teacher who does a hard work will get what she wants and become a high level
between the teachers.
Each teacher uses different strategies to control her class. The strategies have
positive results and adverse outcomes. For example, one of the positive strategies
when she put the star for the good student who answered well and who sit in place.
One thing that attracted me to the teacher that give them many tips such as do a
pray with his father every day.
Moreover, she gives a chance to everyone show his ability. The teacher has a
special skill when she wants the students be quiet when so an activity that she
close eyes and gives her back to students then told 5 to 1 then them stop talking.
There are a few boys that do it misbehavior, but she teacher can control and deal
with them by telling his mothers.
The teacher deal with students positively because they prefer teachers then will
prefer the lesson. On another side, she should be firm because the students see the
teacher is not nervous will not be attention in the classroom and make noise.
