Behavior Management: Day 9 - Tuesday, November 24 2015 Nada Anwar H00328110

The teacher used several strategies to manage student behavior effectively. She had the students freeze when they were moving too much, which they enjoyed as it felt like a game. She also established a routine of having students stand and greet her each morning, which the students followed consistently. Additionally, she had students line up and pretend to be a train when moving places, singing songs to keep them engaged. These strategies helped maintain order while keeping the students active and enjoying school.

manage students behavior.
Strategies used by
teacher

What children did

How useful it was

Ask them to stay put

and listen to her, by
saying (freeze) and they
stay on their place
without moving

They were moving a lot

and when they heard
her saying this they
stopped moving and
look at her

It was so useful because

they think they are
playing some sort of
game with the teacher
and they enjoy it

She asks them to stand

up every day when she
come in the classroom
and greet them because
routine is on of her
strategies in the class

The children are the

ones who stand up on
their own and say good
morning teacher
because they are used
to it

They started doing this

to other teachers and
they ask her how did
you do this ,they were
amazed by what she did
to the students

Let them stand in one

raw by making them act
like they are forming a
train
When moving from
somewhere to another

They stand in one raw

and sing the train
station song when they
walk and sometimes
they clap their hands or
even dance

Its very useful and

amazing because the
children were board in
the classroom so its a
good chance for them
to get active and enjoy
the school and

3. Which of these strategies would you use/not use? Why?
I think that I'm going to use the train strategies because the they
like it the most but
4. Was there anything that could have been done differently?
Yes there was, when she say freeze the children couldn't stay for
more than 5 mins so the she says freeze every 5 mins and I think it's
wrong to do such a thing
5. What surprised you?
When all the students suddenly stayed quiet and didnt move
when she told them
6. What shocked you?
That the teacher repeats what she say over and over and she gets
mad when they stop doing the thing she asked them to do, what did
she think is going to happen I she keeps repeating the same thing
7. What delighted you?
That the students greet the teacher when she come in the class and
