Reflection 03

The document summarizes Khawla Al-Nuaimi's observations of classroom teaching methods. While she was pleased to see improvements in teaching processes compared to her own kindergarten experience, she also noticed flaws in how students' abilities were underestimated. During one observed lesson, the teacher effectively used technology tools like a data projector and music video to engage students in a fun, visual way about learning circle shapes. Overall, the use of technology enhanced the learning process by incorporating text and visuals to keep students motivated.

Reflection 3

During my last observations, many new classroom management ways

have caught my attention. I was proud to see how the teaching process
have developed in comparison to how it was before; when I was still in
kindergarten. However, I noticed some flaws in how the children are
supported in school and how the childrens abilities were underestimated
by their teachers and support staff in the school.
I was so happy to see that that technology was used as a classroom
management tool to keep the children motivated and active during the
class. For instance, the teacher used the data show to project the new
lesson. Firstly, the children watched a music video about the shape they
were learning about, which was the circle shape. Afterwards, the teacher
presented a sample of the worksheet the children will do later, on the
board and asked the children to have a go one by one and try to answer
the questions on the board. This strategy in using technology is
competent because it enchants the learning process by engaging the
learner through text and visuals (Marshall, 2002).
