1-The teacher tells the students to stand in a
line and to sing the national anthem.The
students listen to their teacher and sing and
follow her directions (stay quiet , stand in the
front , move )
2- The teacher gives the students information
about their plan for the day and they revise
what they had the day before it .Students sit
quietly and listen to their teacher and they
interact with their teacher positively . (children
read quran with their teacher )
3- Teacher tells the students that it is snack
time .Students go and everyone sit in his chair
and the tables are labelled with their names
infront of each chair .Students stay in their
places and they dont move until the teacher
tells them even if they finished their snack .
1-The teacher tells the students to go and play
in the area .The students agree between each
others on every ones character (the mother ,
maid , father ) .
2-The teacher distirbutes the students in the
areas and tells two students to go to the
investigation area .The students go and they
explore the materials (Cleaning tools , brush ,
shampoo ) .
3-The teacher tells the students to play with
the blocks .Students sit and decide on a thing
to make and they start working and helping
each others ( building a tower ) .
1-The teacher sends the student to the helping
teacher to give him the worksheet .The student
sits and listens to the directions and then he
starts working (colouring the pictures ) .

with the clay and she distirbutes they clay on


them .Every student plays with the clay the
teacher gave him and designs the shape he
wants .(worm , girl , car ) .
3-The teacher gives the student the ipad and
opens an educational app for him .The student
starts exploring and searching for any games
or songs and he starts playing ( tracing letters ,
matching pictures ) .
1. How does the teacher make sure the students are prepared for the
day?
The teacher prepares the plan of the day and all the materials that she
will need, she writes in the students notebook what would she need in
the classroom to inform the parents and to make students prepared.
2. How many tasks do they complete in one hour?
From 8:30 until 9:05 it is circle time: greeting, choosing the helping hand,
attendance, Islamic culture, revising, having the new lesson, work sheet.
After the circle time children go to the areas and play.
3. Did the teacher use a variety of different types of learning activities?
Yes, she used learning by playing, worksheet, lecturing the students,
asking them to get information they already know.
4. What materials did they use?
Whiteboard , cards , labelled cards , soap , water , shampoo ,
toothpaste , tooth brush, nails cutter , ear pods , worksheet .
5. Were the instructions, explanations and questions clear and
appropriate for the students needs? Give examples.
After giving the students the lesson about cleaning tools she showed
them cards that have pictures of the materials and asked them for
their names, her voice was clear and she was repeating the name for
each tool and she makes the students repeat it (repeating and asking).
6. What strategies did the teacher use to ensure the students understood
what they are about to do?
When she wanted to give them the worksheet, she showed the
worksheet to the students in the circle time and told them that they
have to color it and then asked them what will you do with this
worksheet and they answered.
7. How does s/he make sure all students are involved and attentive?

By eye contact, observing the students, encouraging them with


positive compliments.
8. What signals can you identify that the children have had enough?
They start talking and playing with each others, they dont listen to the
teacher and they start moving.
9. What signals do children show that indicate they are proud of their
achievement or disappointed?
If they are proud they show everyone their achievement and they
smile and tell everyone about what did they do.
If they are disappointed they cry, they never show their work and they
try to hide it, and they might get aggressive if someone tried to take
his work and see it.

Do the children observe others?
Yes, while doing the worksheets, while playing with clay or drawing,
sometimes they ask each others if they can do the same.

Do the children interact with another child during the task?
Yes, sometimes if a child forgot a word or if they had the same thought
they might try to complete for each other.

What do they say or do while completing the tasks?
They keep telling the teacher that they are finished, they start making
some noise and they disturb their friends.
