The developer anticipated requesting an AMR, which | believe is related to construction of 5 floors of wood frame construction over two stories of concrete, with the bottom of the top floor at aft of height. The developer is also proposing rooftop open space, and is wondering if there are any life-safety related restrictions to structures on the roof (covered or partially enclosed spaces). Also, what's the simplest/first type of building permit that could be secured by a development project following planning approval? In order to get some clarification regarding the life-safety questions, | understand that there is a regular Monday morning meeting with Building and Fire Department staff to review items like this. Following that meeting, the environmental consultants would put together a detailed, project- specific scope of work. I've attached a sample scope of work that was prepared by ESA for a proposed development project on 14" and Alice Streets. Note that the budget is high because they were analyzing two different development scenarios and they were doing some additional traffic studies that won't be required for subsequent environmental studies. In the meantime, t'm taking a look at the overall project proposal.
