New Life

December 13-December 19

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and

confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each
day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker
on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional.
At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion
and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks
Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in
the foyer of Power Source.

The birth of Jesus is the reason why we celebrate Christmas!

Father God,

Mary and Joseph had journeyed all the way to

Bethlehem. It was time for Jesus to be born, but there
was one problem. The local inns, or hotels, were all full.
Lots of people had come to Bethlehem and it was busy!
One kind man offered for them to stay in the stable
with his animals. Joseph made sure Mary had a clean,
comfortable place. They were so excited when baby Jesus
was born! Imagine that - the Son of God being born in a
stable! But it was all part of Gods special plan! Luke 2:1-7

Thank you for the gift of Jesus as we celebrate His

birthday this Christmas. Thank you for protecting my
parents, teachers, friends, Pastor Ron, and his family. May
they be strong in You and the power of Your might (Eph.
6:10). Teach me to obey my parents so things will go well
with me and I will live a long life on the earth (Eph. 6:2-3).
Help me to tell others about Your great love! Thank you
that because of Jesus, I am healed and whole.
In Jesus Name,
Amen

She brought forth her firstborn Son, wrapped Him in swaddling

clothes and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room
for them in the inn. Luke 2:7

Luke 2:14
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to me on whom
His favor rests!
Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given. . .
