Basic EquiSync instructions, tips, recommendations:
1. Body position - Find a comfortable place with few distractions. A recliner or chair works well. Al-
though not recommended, laying down can work. Ifyou must lay down, do your best to stay awake
and aware, itis possible but requires much more focus. Sitting on a sofa or other comfortable position
‘works particularly well leaning your weight on something). You do not need to sit ina traditional
meditative position for the technology to be effective. The point is to be comfortable so that your
thoughts are not focused on your body position. Although many dreamlike images flash in your
mind's eye during each session, do your best to stay awake, Close your eyes, relax. Let EquiSync do all
the work.
2, Headphones - Use stereo headphones. This is very important. Regular speakers should not be
used because each ear must perceive different tones for the technology to work. Headphones that
enclose most of the ear are recommended. An inexpensive alternative are earbuds, the kind that fit
inside the ear canal.
3. Audio settings - Play EquiSyne. If your audio player has bass boost, make sure itis turned off. Equi-
Sync was designed to be listened to at a comfortable volume (not loud, not soft, just a medium, pleas-
ant volume).
4, Mindful breathing & thought focus - Be mindful of your breathing. If you are taking long deep
breaths, notice that you are taking long deep breaths. If you are taking short shallow breaths, notice
that you are taking short shallow breaths. Follow your breath, inhaling and exhaling as much as you
need to. If your mind scatters into stressful or fear based thoughts, always come back to the breath
‘Once you get more and more relaxed, notice how much less oxygen and breathing you need. You are
learning how all thoughts, from troubling to harmonious, affect your physiology and respiratory rate.
‘Once you become more experienced with meditation, stressful/troubling/fear based thoughts will
have no effect on you. You can maintain this mental harmony even if the world around you is in total
chaos.
5. Session length - We recommend sessions of 23-48 minutes per day (1-2 tracks, each CD has 3
tracks). Within that frame you are welcome to experiment with different CDs, tracks, times of day, etc.
There isa lot of room for personal preference, you may very well find that you favor a certain track
and/or a certain CD. If you do, and you probably will, then focus on the combinations that you like the
best, which in turn will yield the greatest benefits. Consistency iskey.
6.What to expect for each EquiSync meditative session - You will notice your body falling asleep
while your mind stays conscious. A main goal when using EquiSync is to achieve what we call the
“mind awake, body asleep" state. This is where the healing and balancing take place. Sometimes it
takes 6-15 minutes (or more for beginners) to achieve this state. The more times a person uses the
technology, the shorter the amount of time it takes to achieve the "mind awake, body asleep" state.
“Mind awake, body asleep state” (meditative state)
A Characteristics
I:The body feeling heavy, completely relaxed along with
Il The mind being awake and conscious causing
Ill Breathing to slow down dramatically and
IV. Thoughts starting to have less frequency and less physiological response within the body
In this trance-tike state of consciousness you can mindfully find solutions (on all levels), release stub-
born dysfunctional thought patterns, dig deep into your intuition, have creative visualization & in-
sights, naturally balance your body's chemistry, heal yourself on the deepest levels, and much more.
Your goal for every EquiSync session is to achieve this state, if even just for a few minutes, you will see
benefits: physical, psychological, and emotional.7. Melting layers of psychological baggage - People often experience the liberation of stubbornly re-
sistant dysfunctional psychological/emotional issues, memories, and thoughts. These are problems that
are often repressed subconsciously and come to the surface for a reason. They need to be dealt with,
and meditation releases them. You will find stress has less and less of an effect on you not only in medi-
tation but also in everyday life. Additionally, you will become more and more resilient in dealing with
future trying circumstances and situations.
8, Observing your thoughts - Let your thoughts flow through you with no passing judgment. Detach
from them. Witness them. Monitor them. Observe as your mental chatter and habitual impulses
become less and less, the time between each thought becomes longer and longer. This will carry over to
your non-meditative state. Eventually you will be in the "moment" and in the "now’ always, maintaining
larity of thought at all times.
9, Only the beginning -If we had to give one piece of advice, do not focus exclusively on the brain-
vave entrainment technology or the rain, focus on your breathing, Pay attention to the effect that your
thoughts have on your rate of breath and how the more you get relaxed the less effect your thoughts
have on you. After a few minutes of this, your brainwaves will passively mimic the entrainment frequen-
cies, syncing more into the EquiSync track, guiding you into various states of meditation. This s just the
beginning, you will be amazed with the new you!
Choosing EquiSyne CDs/tracks:
1. Structured, progressive approach- If you would like a more structured routine, and have purchased
the full series of EquiSync (iI, &lll), you can progressively move the track forward every 3-4 days - from
(EquiSync LCD A-Track 1) to (EquiSyne I-CD C-Track 3). Once the 90 days are finished, you can focus on
your favorite tracks/CDs indefinitely, switching up track orders as you wish. With an abundance of Equi:
Syne CDs/tracks, there will always be more than enough brainwave stimulation to push yourself to fresh
meditative gains
2. Intuitive, preferential approach- This is the approach to which most users gravitate. Simply put,
‘experiment with different tracks/CDs, and focus on what you like. As long as you use the technology
regularly, no matter which EquiSync track/CD you choose, you will achieve great results. Consistency is
key.
The differences between the EquiSync CDs/tracks:
Every EquiSync program consists of 3 CDs, with each CD having 3 tracks, 23-24 minutes in length. Gen-
erally speaking, the differences between the tracks on each individual CD are mostly in the design com-
plexity, the degree to which every proprietary EquiSync brainwave entrainment feature has been imple-
mented. You could say the tracks increase in intensity as they move forward (Disc C- Track 3 is more
‘complex than Disc A- Track 1). You are encouraged to experiment with different track orders/ combina-
tions (some people respond better to more simple programs, some people like complex, some people
like both equally, ete).
