My Philosophy of Education as a High School Teacher

I believe that every students

actively involved in learning.

learn best and gain knowledge through exploration.

have greater respect for teachers and peers.

are active organisms who are willing to learn and develop their potentials to the
fullest.

I believe that valuing independence to the learners is important and provide appropriate
activities and support to lead each child towards independent thought, action and feeling.
I believe that my task as a teacher is to facilitate the development of every child to the
optimum and to the maximum by:

Acting as a guide and allowing students natural curiosity to direct his/her

learning.

Promoting respect for all things and all people especially in school.

Helping students attain their fullest potential in the areas they want to excel

Creating opportunity for individual discovery and construction of knowledge.

Motivating them to work hard and master the skills necessary to reach their
goals.

Assisting them in discovering who they are, so they can express their own
opinion and nurture their own ideas.

Giving them the tools with which to cultivate their own gardens of knowledge.
